Review of UFO Extraterestials for the PC

First of all the legendary X-com sucks balls. http://pc.ign.com/articles/772/772285p3.html Why is this game listed as number one PC game of all time of on sites like http://www.ign.com/. I was sick of seeing this game at number one all the time so I decided to try UFO Extraterestials which is a modern day clone of X-com. I was getting bored waiting for it to download, when I grabbed X-com real quick to try it out, after all it's "the best PC game of all fucking time". To my surprise it was a total flaming piece of shit. This game does not deserve to be number one on any list, unless it's a list of hyped up bullshit. It has not with stood the test of time and is no longer fun to play. Games like Mario Bros 3 or even Archon can still be fun so therefore are great games, but X-com these days is just a pain in the ass to play. I gave up trying to play it after maybe 30 mins. X-com go fuck yourself. OK so I was like maybe this UFO Extra.. game will be be better, after all it came out this year. Boy was I wrong. X-com is actually easier to control. UFO ran like shit on my PC and my specs are better then average. With games like Icedwind Dale III and the Fallout series why was no attempt made to make the strategic combat better on this game then X-com. Acually its alot worse because the cursor is so hard to control. The graphics are another thing. While X-com might have looked ok back in it's day, UFO's graphics and sound suck donkey dick. It also has load screens popping up in the middle of the A.I's turn, what a fucking joke. That was it, I was done, I played a little longer then uninstalled the piece of shit. Anyone that clones a game that sucked in the first place and makes it worse ten years later deserves to die. Sure at the time it sounded like a good idea to play a modern day clone of the best PC game of all time, the only problem was the best PC game of all time is a piece of shit not worthy of its title and its clone is a bigger piece of shit built by complete morons. UFO Extraterestials gets a a fat zero out of ten.
